Water bottle is too fussy and leak prone. I have a problem as glass things get broken by my clumsiness, so I use my old plastic ones. The adaptor to drip water into the flask is not reliable and I got flooded! The distiller mechanism is flawless and very useful however and works very well with the supplied tub and plastic flask

Got fed up with temperamental water jug filters so went for this unit. Yes it costs electricity to run but feel it is worth itOverall the unit looks well made and sturdy. The distiller and jug occupies a reasonable amount of counter space approx L40xW30cmHad to assemble the water jug. Solid glass, two metal bands which have to be bolted to the handle. Small nuts and not a lot of spare on the bolts. Fiddly with fat fingers and a springy band but easily done.First run is a cleaning run with supplied citric acid. Then wipe down and good to go.The water coming out of the unit is warm. Plan your water needs, if you want chilled water you need to refrigerate it.The unit is easy to operate, though the tank holds 4l you don't have to distill it all.Overall. Happy
