I bought a railing for a log cabin to remove paint... The alternative was to sand it by hand or use a small angle grinder with a flap disc. It would have been quite a tedious job without this. The paint remnants were tightly stuck in a ~35mm water pipe, and I had to sand the pipe from 3-4 different angles to avoid getting too close to a 180° sanding angle. The coarser 60 & 80 grit sanding belts hold up well against wear, but the finer papers tear more easily. Sanding at an angle can throw the sanding belt out of place, and if the machine isn't kept perpendicular to the pipe, it can only be pressed down carefully, which reduces the sanding power to a fraction. The rollers, bearings, and the angle grinder part itself seem to be of decent quality, so the machine isn't mechanically dead for the first project yet. It was a good purchase.

The tool seems to be in great quality for the price it has,… and it exceeded my expectations. If I, being picky, that spring applying force on the belt could ideally have some more tension as typ. a (fleece sanding bests) tends to sometimes slip against the driving wheel on the tool when spinning in midair before pushing the belt against a tube. But this tends to improve after a while after the initially stiff (fleece sanding best) gets “worn-inn”.

The only problem is that you cannot buy sanding belts in 40mm width... :-( They can be found in 50mm..! Can you get larger wheels for it so you can use 50mm sanding belts..?

Very good and suitable for cleaning pipes. I confidently recommend it to everyone who works with large dimensions.

Easy to use polisher. The equipment is a good tool for field service. In the photo you see the boat building application where this polishing tool is usea. All stainless tubes has to be polished.

Works really well once you get the hang of it! Produced some really good results on tube not possible with an angle grinder. I hope it lasts although it seems quite robust. Worth the money and glad I bought it as it adds extra capabilities to my workshop. Seller is helpful as had an issue with importing from Germany...more the fault of Brexit than anything else.

Une machine parfaitement conforme la description mais livr_ avec un peu de retard. Par contre, le transporteur malmen le colis. Heureusement que ce n'_ait pas un objet fragile, il n'y a que quelques marques de frotement sur la machine.

The sander is great, fit for the purpose it was bought for. Comes with a 2 pin plug but has a 3 pin adaptor included in the box so the unit can be used straight away.
