




The VEVOR sewer snake camera features a 30m (98.4 ft) semi-rigid fiberglass cable for inspecting long residential and commercial pipelines. This makes it possible to inspect property drain runs, underground lateral connections, and commercial pipeline sections that shorter camera cables cannot reach from a single access point. At 30 meters, the camera can reach from a ground floor cleanout to the end of a residential drain run.

It can handle standard 90-degree swept bends, 45-degree junctions, and P-traps that are common along drain routes. For inspection purposes, the 5 mm diameter keeps the cable's cross-section small compared to the smallest pipe bore the camera can fit into, which is 25 mm for straight pipes and 50 mm for right-angle configurations.
A fully flexible cable cannot reliably transmit push force from the reel through curved sections, but semi-rigid fiberglass can. This keeps the cable from coiling inside the pipe when the direction changes, so it keeps moving the camera forward. Over the full 30m length, the semi-rigid construction maintains enough stiffness for controlled pushing through long pipe runs. Still, the semi-rigid construction maintains directional stiffness at the longer cable length without making it too stiff to go around bends.
The 0.9-inch (23-mm) camera head records video at 1920x1080 quality with a 120° wide-angle lens. This provides a wide field of view that covers the entire inside diameter of pipes in the compatible size range in a single frame. This wide-angle geometry is especially useful in larger-bore pipes, such as 100 mm and 150 mm diameter soil and drain pipes. With a narrow lens, you could only see the middle of the pipe's interior, and you would have to tilt or move the camera to see the pipe walls and the bottom.
The 1080P resolution at 120° provides enough detail to distinguish crack geometry from surface staining, identify the type and severity of root intrusion at joint lines, and document the condition of pipe materials for insurance or maintenance purposes. Because the camera head is 23 mm in diameter, it can fit into pipes as small as 25 mm straight pipes without getting stuck on pipe fittings or narrow pipe connections during snake-through inspections.
You can watch the inside of the pipe live on your phone or tablet by connecting it to the built-in WiFi module. This way, the operator can move the cable through the pipe with both hands while watching what is happening inside the pipe on their phone. Handheld monitor systems require the operator to split their attention between watching the screen and managing the cables. This is especially true at 30m, where the operator needs to focus on managing the reel, advancing the cable, and keeping track of the camera position all at once.
The phone receives the stream without any hardware between the camera and the phone. The direct WiFi connection provides a low-latency live view on compatible mobile devices. You can take real-time photos of specific pipe conditions, record continuous video of the entire inspection, and capture audio notes for hands-free documentation—all from your mobile device screen, without stopping the inspection.
Twelve LEDs grouped around the 23 mm camera head illuminate the entire inspection area. The operator can choose from three brightness settings. In smaller-bore pipes, the close pipe walls reflect high light levels into the lens, washing out detail. In larger-bore or longer-run sections, the LED light must travel farther to illuminate the pipe wall and invert ahead of the camera, thereby requiring higher brightness.
With this sewer snake camera, you can change the brightness from the control unit instead of taking the camera out and putting it back in at a different setting. This means you can make changes in the middle of an inspection as the camera moves between pipe sections of different diameters, without stopping the forward inspection run.
The 4500 mAh battery can run continuously for 4–5 hours on a single charge, which is long enough to complete several inspection sessions or a single long commercial survey without stopping to charge. You can charge the unit between jobs using the standard USB Type-C chargers that most techs already have for their phones thanks to the USB Type-C port.
There is a sturdy metal reel that holds the 30m cable. This reel holds its shape even though the 30m cable is heavier and has more deployment strain than the 20m cable. The metal reel helps it hold its shape during repeated cable deployment and retrieval. The whole unit weighs only 9.6 pounds (4.36 kg), so it is easy for one person to move around a job site and set up at different access points during an inspection.
