Without having physical access to the pipe at the probe location, operators can track the precise location of the drain inspection camera head through pipe walls, concrete, and soil thanks to the integrated 512Hz sonde transmitter built into the camera probe, which broadcasts a signal that the included receiver picks up from above ground. Operators can directly adjust LED intensity based on pipe diameter and internal surface conditions encountered during the inspection, thanks to the adjustable brightness feature. Reducing LED output in thinner pipes at the lower end of the 25 mm to 150 mm suitable range avoids overexposure that obscures the monitor's fine surface detail. Increasing the brightness in pipes with a larger diameter ensures uniform coverage across the larger interior surface area. Because of its versatility, the camera works well with all compatible pipe sizes and requires no additional on-site lighting equipment.
