Solid little XY table for benchtop drill presses that can be made amazing with a bit of TLC. Just understand that it will need dissasembly and a little cleanup of paint in the ways and gib adjusment to get things nice and tight.

The table moves smoothly in both directions. A good cleaning or spray down with WD 40 type oil will loosen the heavy packing oil. Add a small vise and for less money you get a superior cross slide vise. Let the milling begin.

If you want a simple work table to use, especially for your drill press, this is a great table to consider and purchase. I found it to be accurate enough for what I am going to do with it. Is this something to use a professional machine shop and for cranking out a ton of parts? No -- but that should be apparent by the price point.The table requires some prep work once it arrives. This is what I did:1) Unwrapped and sprayed it down with brake cleaner to get all the nasty oil/grease off2) Disassembled the entire unit and sprayed it down again3) Took a wire brush to all the channels and guide areas to remove excess paint4) Sanded down the top deck to make sure it was truly flat5) Filed down all the spacers in the channel guides to remove any burrs6) Took a dremel with a sanding drum and knocked down all the edges7) Reassembled and greased the guides

Beefy. Good size too. Packaging needs improvement. Canada Post likes to throw things. Lots of holes in box and beat up but table looks ok. Will need cleaning up but I like it. Well worth the price.

As everyone else has stated, tear it down,file off burrs and grease well,I have milled a bit of 1/4 plate with this and it holds up well, I have a pretty beefy ITC press with good size bearings so a good steady lateral force is no problem, if your planning to attach this to a smaller press to do any milling, be careful because the Jacobs chuck is is just a tapered fit and it will fall out while your operating it.?It is pretty true and sturdy.minimal tightening on gibs will reduce unwanted XY movement .Lot_ of backlash on allthread drives, if you_e prepared for it , it_ not a problemI would purchase again

The dials are in mm. The x y travel is 66mmX116mm. Solid build. The only flaw is a lot of backlash in the lead screw.

For the average tinkerer and light hobbyist, this works pretty well. Out of the box, you will find that you need to do some fine-tuning of the adjustments for the sled. The tolerances are a bit sloppy if you don't. I find this to be a great value, even with the little things to make it that much better. I do recommend complete disassembly, gleaning, either shimming or replacing the bearings with better quality to take out most of the play, and lubricating moving parts during reassembly.

Die Spindelspiele lassen sich einstellen, jedoch nicht spielfrei machen. Die Schrauben für die Klemmleisten sollten stirnseitug ballig gedreht oder geschliffen werden. Prinziepiell sehe ich hier meine Erfahrung bestätigt: preiswerte Werkzeuge aus PRC lassen sich gut als Basis verwenden und Erfahren durch die individuelle Nachbearbeitung eine Verbesserung.

Bon outil , relativement fragile , vis légèrement tordue , mais très bien construit dans l’ensemble .
