This is my first server rack i have ever purchased or used. Putting it together is not as bad as i have seen many others say for the reviews of this. I did have a small problem aligning some holes during assembly but it was from over tightening screws. There is a section near the bottom that secures two 90 degree angles together but is blocked by the nut for the caster wheels. I however did not have any damage from the factory. Paint finish felt just fine but will scratch off if you aren't careful. I think the parts were shipped in a very clean manner and were all labeled what part was what, minus the screws. After i finished assembling the unit i thought it was more than sturdy for what purpose it serves. Is it going to survive being thrown off the roof? Probably not, but for its intended use it seems more than solid and only takes about an hour to setup. It did say you need two people, but i did it by myself, with some patience. The only flaw to the entire cabinet is that NONE of the adjustable parts secure together with nuts. The entire cabinet is assembled using M5 screws and you must force thread the holes with the screws. They are not self tapping either from the looks of it. It seems solid enough with the way it went together so I'm going to try and not beat this around too much so it doesn't become flimsy. I would very much so recommend that you use a drill with a Philips bit and set the clutch to a medium strength. You also have to be careful you match both sides of the adjustable racks so a part isn't installed backwards or upside down because it can very easily look like it was assembled right. To be very honest i would give this a 4.5 out of 5 only because i feel that the assembly instructions could use some improving.

The metal plate that goes on the top was pretty badly damaged, the corner was bent meaning the plate had to be orientated in a certain way7 or it wouldn't fit. There is a lot of scrapes on the top plate. Everything else was alright, though the screws requiring an hex key is annoying, just use regular flat/phillips head screws.

The best rack to organize your home network, easy to assemble and very flexible because of no sides. Also very strong shelves to place some equipment without rack connectors.

This "Open Frame Server Rack" is one of the most affordable I was able to find. The title at the time of purchase, which said '15"-40"', should be corrected to '23"-40"', however in my case this was perfectly fine. The rack is assembled with real screws, as advertised. You get mounting equipment which uses Allen key, which seems to be pretty common. Nothing bad with it so far, will see if things break in the future :P

Easy to assemble and surprisingly sturdy. Although I should have got higher. But I didn't know better.

Bought this server rack for my homelab. It was easy to assemble. Followed the instructions and had it assembled in about 1 hour. Mounted my HP servers and workstations, Cisco switch, KVM switch, and PFsense router. The included trays were perfect also. I highly recommend this rack. A few more RUs would’ve been perfect.

Good solid frame and well priced. Only took 15mins to bolt it all together. Standard cage nuts fit without issue. Do not buy rackstuds, I have tried 2 sizes and neither fit.

Packaging/handling could be improved. Some parts came bent, had to use a vise to sraighten them. Coating is quite thin and can be scratched easily.Overall worth the price.

Preciso che ho visto poche recensioni in merito a questo articolo ed ero un po’ scettico all’acquisto.Pro:- Il prodotto è costruito bene.- Ottimo per server.Contro:- Sfortunatamente il manuale potrebbe risultare diverso del prodotto.- Il corriere DHL non avuto cura della spedizione del prodotto (un’anta risultava mezza piegata, il venditore mi ha risarcito per il danno)Per il resto è il primo rack che compro è senza manuale non ho avuto problemi nel montarlo.Lo consiglio a quelle persone che vogliono iniziare a costruirsi una home server farm casalinga senza spendere troppo.
