best homemade ice cream ever
The machine is easy to use and seems to work well. It's not overly loud and is fairly easy to clean. I had an issue with it out of the box but vevor took care of it. But check this out,,,, I started using guar gum for various baking projects and guess what,, it makes the best ice cream I've ever had ( I'm an old guy) so I ask you to try the recipes I've included in this review. I know this might sound like an infomercial but even if you don't buy the machine,,, these recipes will serve you well.
Vanilla ice cream
3 cups whole milk or whatever you prefer
Maybe a half cup or more of sugar or to taste
2 tsp vanilla
Between 1/4 and 1/2 tsp guar gum powder
Whisk all the ingredients together taking care to mix the guar gum in evenly so that it doesn't clump. Maybe mix the sugar and guar gum together first to help disperse the guar gum better. Dump everything into your ice cream machine and set it for regular ice cream. You should find that this recipe finishes earlier than a regular batch and the guar gum helps expand the ice cream making about a half gallon.
Basically you can substitute anything in that recipe to create something different. Change out the milk for water and add a half packet of Kool aid and you can make your own slushies or use a silicone mold to make popsicles . You can play with the amount of guar gum but a little goes a long way. I wish I had this when my kids were little.
Chocolate ice cream
Half cup of cocoa powder
1 bakers semisweet 4oz bar
1 bakers unsweetened 4oz bar
4 cups milk
1 cup sugar
Couple tsp vanilla
Mix all but vanilla ( add that at the end) in a pot and heat gently while stirring to mix all the ingredients with no lumps. Store this in the fridge until you need it. This will make about 4 batches of ice cream.
To make the ice cream,,, pour 1 cup of the chocolate mix and 2 cups milk into a bowl along with maybe a half cup of sugar more or less to taste. Add just over a quarter teaspoon of guar gum ( a half tsp seems to be too much but you can play with that to get your desired consistency). Whisk everything together and put it in your machine, set it for regular and usually between 30 and 45 minutes later it should be set.
Afterwards,, I fill silicone ice cream bar molds and freeze them as cold as possible ( refrigerator freezers maybe get to 15 f while chest freezers get much colder). The extra cold makes it easier to release from the molds. Then I dip them in melted chocolate. Better than any high end dove bars or expensive ice cream.
PS. These machines are very fixable. It's one of the reasons I like vevor stuff.

I hate this thing
I make killer ice cream and sorbets. I gained 10 lb in the first week. I am trying to wear this thing out before I become diabetic. This thing really came in handy after the election. Sea salted caramel in the photo

Grey 2qt
It is very easy to used and light weight but it is just van fill up the icecream ingredients only half bucke from the icecream machine because it will not work!! (it will not moving)
The icecream is smoothed after you keep in the freezer (4-6 hours)
I m enjoy with him a lot I have some of the icecraMs photos to show to u that I have been made it today but manytime I was busy with something else while wiaitting for it melted (after take out from the freezer) and can grap it from the scoop spoon
so it will not be looks nice but if I focus on it the ice creams really perfect shape!

Simply Incredible!
How can I extol the many virtues of this machine? I purchased this to replace a Cuisinart 2 quart machine with The freezer insert. I have always wanted a machine with a compressor When I saw one at this price, I thought to myself what the heck? I ordered it immediately It is simple to use and consistent My granddaughter’s second birthday party was an ice Cream
theme. I made 11 batches over two days in this machine and one of them came out perfect I would highly recommend

Gelatiera Vevor....fantastica!
Grey 2qt

Forget the Kitchenaid freezer bowl
I make ice cream and when Covid hit, I got out the old ice cream freezer bowl out for kitchenaid and made plenty of batchs since. But it took up too much room in my freezer. I found this small ice cream freezer unit with a built in compressor, Got the right price and presto! Making batches of ice cream, without the waiting of freezing the bowl.
I only hope it holds up.
The 2 qt. bowl sets into the opening and twist into place. However, since the bowl has such tight tolerance, it takes a while to remove because it appears to freeze itself into position. That is the only nthing I don't like but otherwise, its a great little two qt. ice cream maker. Would recommend.
