As someone who recently moved from the United States to Europe, I cannot overstate how valuable the VEVOR 3000W Step Up/Down Transformer has been. I brought several beloved US appliances with me — including my Breville toaster oven, which simply isn't available here in Europe — and this transformer lets me use them safely and reliably every day. The versatility of this unit is outstanding. It features both US-style 110V outlets and European 220V Schuko outlets right on the front panel, so it works as both a step-up and step-down transformer. There are plenty of places to plug things in — six AC outlets total — plus USB and USB-C ports for charging phones and smaller devices. It's genuinely a one-stop solution for powering multiple appliances. One design feature I really appreciate is the two sturdy handles on top. Believe me, you'll be grateful for them — this is a serious piece of equipment with real copper coils inside, and it's quite heavy. The handles make it manageable to position and move when needed. The built-in safety features — overload protection, overcurrent protection, and a fuse backup — give me real peace of mind running an 1800W appliance through it daily. The automatic voltage detection is a nice touch too; no manual switching required. Is it an investment? Yes. But when the alternative is replacing perfectly good US appliances that you love and that aren't sold here, this transformer more than pays for itself. Highly recommended for fellow expats.

Absolutely perfect for what we needed to be able to charge our electric tool batteries from the US in Ireland...didn't want to have to throw them all out and this allows us to charge the batteries, with ease!! Great product!!
