We used two of these jacks to support our floor from our unfinished basement. After moving them around a bit, we found the sweet spot that keeps our floor from bouncing when we walk.

Bought 2 of these short jacks and a long one to lift up a sagging floor. They’re doing the job just fine. My only complaint is the silver bars you use to turn the jack aren’t that strong and do bend. Make sure to add some grease to the threads before use.
