Installed the heater along with Velor Variable Speed 1.5 HP pump. Had my Electrician wire the garage for 220. The pump and Heater are preforming well so far. Wish there was a better manual for programming the pump and heater . Great Heater. Water is amazing.

Installed easy. Had to run 8-2 wire. Piping was simple if I had bought 1.5 vs 2 inch pipe first. Unit is amazing, pool is 85 now in 12 hrs. Day temp was 86 with low night temp of 65. I’m in Houston Texas. Got this to also cool the pool when it’s 110 in summer and water is a nasty 91F. I will say when heating it makes a lot of condensate so the area around the unit and the pad is muddy. I recommend when you plan to install, plan to install under ground drain pipe. I plan to, and run it out to the street. Probable will do a 1inch pipe to fit all 3 drain hoses and reduce down to 3/4 for the rest of the run. Or if you’re crafty you could use the condensate to water your flower bed or something. All I know is for 1800$ I think it was a good deal.

It came broken. The center piece of the fan case was shattered to pieces, obviously because of careless transport. I contacted Vevor and, after requesting a bunch of photos, offered to compensate 30% of the price. I accepted their offer and printed a new piece to hold the fan. And it works! Right after connecting, warm water started coming from the outlet (inlet had 10 degrees). So I love it. Small and with a reasonable price.

The S001 pool heat pump impresses with its efficiency. Despite its powerful 4.0 kW output, electricity consumption is pleasantly low. My pool stays warm all year round without high bills. Fantastic!

The 4.0 kW S001 pool heat pump heats my pool to the ideal temperature in no time. Installation was super easy with the European plug, and it runs quieter than expected. Highly recommended!

Had this for 1 year now, has run great, outside shows some signs of rusting which will need touching up but it is in a pool enviroment in Florida. Operationally works great. Worth the price.

Finally, a pool heat pump that comes with a standard 220V plug and a European connector! No need for cumbersome adapters. The 4.0 kW output is perfectly adequate for my medium-sized pool. Very satisfied!

I purchased this for a 1,000 Gallon above ground pool that I had on my patio. My patio is covered so it's always in the shade. Even in high 90* days for days on end the water was still in the mid to low 70's which was too cold for my young kids to really enjoy. I plumbed this in along with a pump that was way oversized for the pool and it worked great. I even turned it up to 100* on days when I wanted a hot tub haha. But typically we'd keep the pool in the mid 80's range. Even on a 1,000 gallon pool it increased our power bill by over $100/month. Which I was anticipating. This is going to be true for pool heaters, especially 120v heaters. But it was a price I was willing to pay because wiring in 220v to my patio was not something I wanted to deal with. Overall it worked great. I was very impressed with the build quality on everything. Next year I'll work on getting both the pump and the heater on timers to see if I can cut costs a bit by controlling when it's heating.
