Customer Reviews for VEVOR Cast Iron Anvil, 55 Lbs(25kg)Single Horn Anvil with 8.6 x 4.1 inch Countertop and Stable Base, High Hardness Rugged Round Horn Anvil Blacksmith, for Bending, Shaping, Twisting
It wants me to rate 3 things... thickness, value for money, and sheerness. As far as thickness goes, DAMN BOI. Value for money? You bet your thicc ass. Sheerness, well, if I dropped it on my bare foot it'd probably sheer off my toes, so 10/10
With silversmithing as a hobby I occasionally make an iron or steel tool so this little anvil does double duty. Would like to have one of its bigger brothers but have no room for anything bigger than the 22 lb / 10 kg that I purchased. Should anything happen to this one, I would replace it with an identical anvil. I'm just that pleased and couldn't be happier with this purchase. Had almost given up finding one this size and pattern in steel.Travis
This anvil is a great starter or portable anvil has been holding up very well. Has good rebound and flat top. Took about one hour with grinder to shape up the horn. That came unfinished.
Pretty good. Casting defects and soft around the hardy hole
It seems like the best priced hardened steel anvil, but the area around the hardy hole is softened so you gotta be careful with it as it dents easily. The rest of the anvil face is pretty good though.
