I used this to cut a few branches touching on my 2nd story roof (~28' up) - to discourage squirrels from partying on my roof at nighttime. Works well enough. The cut branches are about 3" in diameter. The sawing takes about 5-10 mins each. Easy enough to use. TIP: line up vertically and use gravity to help you. Avoid branches pinching on your saw. Cutting horizontal will take a lot more work (and may not work at all). I actually reached out from a bedroom window from 2nd floor. Less hassle than finding and paying someone else to do this.

This product has real value. It enable you to get to some high areas without a ladder. The only problem when using the max height; it is somewhat hard to control and tend to bow. But, it beats being on a high ladder. I would not use this around any electrical wires due to the fact that if you lost control of it-it may fall into the wires. Overall, for the price and benefit I would recommend it.

blade bend from misuse in perfect world blade could have been thicker. Overall i would highly recomend very sharp.
