I've been using this for about 1 1/2 years and it still works great. The people I bought the 3 phase piece of equipment from had the phase convertor that used a motor to create the 3 phase. It was large, bulky, and inefficient. This controller converts single phase power to 3 phase, allows me to regulate the speed, and I can run in reverse if I have a need for it. I would definitely buy again if I had a need for it.

Works like a charm on a 1.5kw 3 phase motor. Got the programming in 15 minutes.
Did notice that when progressing the speed too fast (beyond 100% - 50hz), the motor could loose track, which forces you to go turn it back to 100% and progress more slowly. I think that the motor i am using is not liking speeds above 60-70hz.
By default the fan on the vfd is always on (which is annoying), so i reconfigured that into a temp.setting. I am content.
