Customer Reviews for VEVOR VFD 2.2KW 10A 3HP Variable Frequency Drive for 3-Phase Motor Speed Control

I purchased this VFD to run a 2HP 3-phase motor in a vertical bandsaw. There is a very narrow range of frequency (20-33 Hz) that it will start the motor. Selecting lower than 20 just gives a buzzing sound and doesn't start. Selecting higher produces an error (seems to trip a breaker) and shuts down VFD. When selecting in the narrow range mentioned above, after the motor starts, then I can increase the frequency to full levels. I wasn't sure what to expect but I thought 5HP VFD would be sufficient to start a 2HP 3-phase motor, but I guess I should of went bigger??

VFD worked great for a month then blew breaker. It was replaced with no problem and the new one is working great! Manual is a bit difficult to understand some of the parameter settings but customer service sent a video that explained it well!

1 week in and its performing well running a 7.5 hp compressor. programming for 60hz power took a few minutes but there is lots of videos to watch. Its running inside a vevor 20x16x10 enclosure.

Ce convertisseur mono vers triphasé a un comportement qui me semble anormal : j'ai oublié un jour de couper le disjoncteur qui l'alimente et retournant dans mon atelier le lendemain j'ai constaté que les ventilateurs du convertisseur fonctionnaient à plein régime, comme si l'appareil chauffait... alors qu'il était s'implement sous tension mais avait été arrêté au niveau de son panneau de commande... je me demande ce qui se passera si je laisse l'appareil sous tension par erreur, et que je l'oublie ainsi plusieurs jours ? Vais-je le retrouvé en panne, comme le convertisseur précédent (d'une autre marque) ? je ne me sens pas très en sécurité avec un matériel qui se comporte ainsi.

Lo compré para un elevador, por defecto viene configurado para que arranque desde 0 hercios y vaya subiendo de rpm con el motor ya en marcha, esto obviamente es incompatible con un elevador que debe comenzar con 50 hercios, les pregunté y me dijeron que no era compatible ni había configuración posible, investigando y probando averigüé que se puede configurar variando los valores de frecuencia mínima, media, máxima y de referencia para que no arranque el motor hasta que se acumulen en e aparato los 50 hercios necesarios, y así está funcionando, tarda 30 segundos casi en arrancar desde que pulsas pero por ese precio es aceptable.
