Liked the sander no fixing for the sanding disc. Looking forward to use it a lot

Thank you for the speed of delivery nicely made but the base isn’t too stable it is 1/4”out of square in other words 3 corners are flat on my work bench and on corner is 1/4”off level creating a wobble or limp.I am attempting to rectify this today withe the help of some shimming material or screwing it down to my workbench .Stay tuned for follow up

The first thing I noticed was that the belt rollers are made of plastic. I am not sure how durable they will be, as my previous machine had metal roller that were starting to break up. Upon using the machine I find that the motor is not as powerful as I thought it would be it drags its feet when sanding material. The operating instructions booklet is a photo copy on shiny paper with a lot of reference to numbers on diagrams, the numbers are very faint and hard to read which makes it hard to follow the instructions. Apart from my observations the machine is well made and works quite well, and a direct relationship to the cost, which is reasonable.

This was an excellent purchase. The sander has enough power to use the belt fairly well. As with any sanding , not applying to much pressure is key to success. I did add a hook and loop disc to the disc sander section for easy removal. Also 3d printed a cover to the end of the belt sander to catch dust and allow vacuum attachment. think this would be a great addtional to the tool or very little additional expense and would have got 5 stars across the board with these 2 minor changes.

For the money this machine is great. There is enough power to work it hard.Belt replacement is easy enough.

Goods arrived well packed. This unit looks too similar to a Machine Mart unit but a lot cheaper. So I made the decision to buy at the lower price and "tweak out"any issues I found. I stripped the machine as far as motor mount and drive belt cover as my unit had misaligned pulleys. looking at it closer, the motor mount slots needed filing to allow more movement of the motor and hence assist alignment and belt tension as the belt was very taught. Just used a steel ruler across the face of both pulleys to align them and slowly set the belt tension yo just tight enough as too tight causes the motor to hesitate to start. It took me an hour and I was happy with the result and also got a feel for is the unit good for my needs? It is and it's in regular use. I did buy some extra fine grit belts and as long as you vacuum whilst you use, dust is not a big issue. Use a mask! Belt tension and tracking adjustment is good on my unit and so far, no disappointments based on cost price. For a home/model engineer workshop this is a must and extreme value for money. Was an hour of my time worth paying nearly double the price? Yes. I know the kit better and just like other machines in my workshop, it has been fettled to satisfaction and fit for purpose.

Great value unit just can't get replacement sanding discs to Stick to the end pad a real pain , customer services are no use whatsoever
