Wires not connected
52cc 6 inch+8 inch
The machine had wires that where not connected. I did write to vevor . In the end I took the relevant part to pieces and reconnected the wires . The machine works fine now this has been done .
When vevor asked for photos of what was broken this was impossible to do .as nothing could been seen.
And as it was taken to pieces it just got fixed

Good, but has had some issues
The auger has had some times it has performed well, but there have been some hiccups. It arrived with two of the handle bolts just placed loosely into the box. One of them jammed itself between the cover and the engine. It took some time to get it out of there.
After using the auger on ten holes, it refused to start the next day. After taking the spark plug out, I noted it was covered in black liquid. The unit would only start by using the spare spark plug that was provided. Similarly I have had to remove and thoroughly clean the spark plug twice more as the project has continued. That has slowed down our progress.
Yet, when it works, it works well.

You get what you pay for.
Not bad for what it is it shook apart so we had to stop and go though it all. The throttle kept getting stuck open during use which is pretty dangerous. but as expected for a low cost tool. Renting one for the week would of been a lot more.
The drill bit on the one snapped off after about 60 holes and would not dig anymore.
Still better than doing by hand.

Not too sure
Not sure how someone thought this worked well in hard soil. My soil must be like concrete then. After about 5 or 6 inches, the unit would bog down and I would have to remove it and try again. Maybe it’s because it’s got the 8” auger and not the 6”. The weight of this one person machine is as heavy as some 2 persons machines that I have used. But, as someone mentioned, that weight probably helps bore the hole and it might in “normal” soil, but not in my hard pan.

Very hard starting. Works as it should after you're able to get it started.

Good enough
Bought about a month ago, used it for digging holes for 4x4 fence post. Worked well enough except if you hit roots or of course rocks. The reason i gave it a 3 star is the gas trigger has never worked from day one. But it was worth the money and it performed well enough.

Works but be careful
Does it drill holes? Yes. The only issue I have is that you should never lay it down on its side while running because air bubbles will get pulled through the fuel pick up line, regardless of having a full tank, causing the motor to run away and turning the auger into the world's most dangerous Skip-It. Even when standing straight up at times, if a bubble runs through, the throttle gets a mind of its own and it'll rev up and spin out of control.

Need Help!!!
I purchased the 52cc auger. It worked great for a few holes. However the plastic sheathing holding the wires and throttle cable got caught on the 10” bit and broke. Obviously this was my mistake as I should have used the zip ties and fastened the tubing down to the handle bars. I went off pictures of the completed tool online and noticed zip ties were not used as the tubing and wires just hung freely. Lesson learned the hard way. I was able to repair the black and red wires, not sure how long they’ll last. It would be nice if Vevor sold a throttle cable and wire assembly separate. Now I’m stuck looking for an off brand throttle cable. The end of the cable that connects to the engine, broke off so now the cable has no way of staying in the slot on the engine.

Its ok for the price. Cheap steel bits though
Its ok as long as you dont hit roots or rocks. Got it stuck in clay and took 2 hours of digging to get it out
