Bought this to put large items in my loft. It works great and seems to be well built. I added grease to the bearings, mounted it and I’m very happy with it. I highly recommend it! Great price! I swapped out the 12v winch for a 120 volt and used the 12v on a trailer, it was a double win for me.

Pretty handy unit. I mounted this to a Fab table to lift heavy items onto a 5x10 welding table. We made a custom bracket to install a 120vac harbor freight cable hoist instead of the supplied 12v winch. The bearings for the swivel have zero grease in them out of the box so be sure to stick a needle greaser up into the opening and fill it with grease especially if this will be used on a truck as intended to keep road grime and moisture out or it will lock up pretty quickly because the bearings are completely exposed to the elements on the underside .

Very handy if your that guy. That does everything him self i was surprised aat the big ball bearings on the rotating part. Nice piece for the price

Good product with features I needed. Good construction unlike one review. I recommend cleaning and greasing the bearings as I found some grit in the bearings. Looked like either sand blasting or grinding grit. Cleaned and grease and all was well.  Packaging could be better. The winch was in a box and the delivery guy had the package standing on end with the winch at the bottom. I would highly recommend opening the box and checking the winch for damage upon receipt. A quick check can be done with a battery charger.  Over all, highly pleased.

Had to extend arm out to last setting so added a 2nd pully to double capacity, pivot lock screw doesnt hold arm in position when operating on slope. Needs a hole all the way through with a locking pin. Got it wired off my tractors 7 pin connector, works pretty good, hoist retreive rate is slow. But does pick these big pieces of wood, saving my back.
