Easy to use and produces sealed crimps. Sometimes the insert towards the handle stick to the pipe and has to be pried off with pliers. Possibly the reason is that the lower holder is a bit weak and deforms.

The pipe crimping tool arrived as promised, very good service. I have use it a good few times and each time the it made a perfect crimped joint both on the 16mm and 20mm. My only dislikes are that it is a little heavy and because the arms have to be extended fully to fit over the joint, it is difficult to make a joint if you do not have plenty of space. Overall, good value for the price.

Ich habe mir die Zange angeschafft, weil meine hydraulische Pressmaschine kaputt gegangen ist und ich schnell einen günstigen Ersatz brauchte. Nach Fertigstellung meiner Installation mit 22mm V-Kontur Pressfittings und ca. 40 Pressungen kann ich jetzt ein Fazit geben:- die Presszange arbeitet einwandfrei, WENN der Pressdruck korrekt eingestellt ist. Der Händler hat leider versäumt, eine Einstellanleitung mitzuliefern, daher ein Stern Abzug. Der kleine Inbusschlüssel dafür liegt aber bei. Eine gute Anleitung findet man z.B. als Video im Netz. Einfach mal nach "Einstellung Pressdruck" suchen. Die Einstellung sollte auch immer mal wieder überprüft und die Arretierschraube nachgezogen werden.- die Zange braucht durch die langen Hebelarme recht viel Platz. Bei beengten Verhältnissen (wie bei mir) ist es eventuell notwendig, die Pressungen außerhalb vorzunehmen und dann das fertige Rohrgebilde an die endgültige Position zu bringen. Im Nachhinein betrachtet, wäre ich mit einer gleichartigen Presszange mit handbetriebener Hydraulikpumpe besser gefahren. Die kosten nicht wesentlich mehr als diese Zange.- man benötigt doch einiges an Kraft in den Armen, um die Pressungen durchzuführen. Grundsätzlich kann ich sagen: wenn es leicht ging, war die Pressung nicht ausreichend und damit undicht. Nachpressen mit korrekter Einstellung ist aber kein Problem, das funktioniert sogar, wenn schon Druck auf dem Rohr ist.- die Grate, die beim Pressen entstehen, sind für mich kein Kriterium zur Abwertung. Diese gibt es auch bei professionellen Pressmaschinen, wie ich bei meiner vom Fachbetrieb ausgeführten Heizungs- und Gasinstallation sehen konnte. Wenn es stören sollte, hilft eine Feile, wenn die Rohre isoliert werden, ist es eh egal.

I got the crimping tool surprisingly fast in couple of days, did not have the chance to work with the tool yet. Looks massive and good to have so many type of jaws in one set.

Grapa bien pero he tenido que comprar un troquel de 25 mm. ya que el viene es de 26mm. A mi entender le falta un poco de potencia ya que en 25 mm. tienes que apretar mucho, aun asi lo recomiendo por la reclacion calidad precio.

Muy buena prensa ,aunque un poco pesada y no cabe en muchos espacios
