Look for the seal inside the thumper. It is a split seal that fits around the seam of the lid.

This worked great! Easy to assemble and it worked on my new wave induction heater. Only had to add a couple of pinch clips to the thumper and it sealed after that. Easy Assembly and Operation

The Vevor Moonshine Still 9.6 Gal is an outstanding value for an item that is practical and useful for preparedness. Upon arrival, I noted that the item is constructed of high-grade steel and copper. Assembly was pretty straight forward as noted by the included instructions. Although I, personally, am not using the still for making moonshine, I could use the included instructions and recipes to do so. For those using the still to distill water, the item works flawlessly and the distilled water is easily collected for later use. I highly recommend this product to anyone seeking to learn the art of distilling. - David Storrs

Great for beginner's. If you want to start distilling as a hobbie I'd start here. This pot is easy to clean as easy to pack. I love it great product and would recommend it to anyone who is just starting in the distilling. KJB

Good product easy to use well written instruction.

It works well as a still I javent used it as a fermentation. The vaulves on the condenser pot are poor, but work. I'm afraid they will break. Also wish the pot was large enough for ice blocks but they work, overall I like the product and will use it for a good time to come. Remember alchohol is highly flamable as a vapor be safe and use over electric heat.
