It works, but sometimes the handle switch doesn't work every time and you have to press it two or three times before the device welds the pieces together, otherwise the device works really well and the current is enough even for slightly thicker material.
This microswitch fault is probably an individual fault and I probably have the right type of microswitch on the shelf and if it starts to have more symptoms I will replace it later.
The spot welding machine should have a significantly longer cord so that it would be easier to use and you wouldn't have to use an extension cord every time.
