This large, heavy duty lab jack is well made with cast parts on the elevator. Less well made lab jacks have stamped metal parts that can bend under a heavy load. I used this to support 6 gallons of wine so it could be siphoned into a lower container. It is sturdy enough to support that weight, about 48 pounds, even nearly fully extended. One should be aware that the method of raising and lowering the jack is the standard screw-based method; while this method is fine for raising the platform with a modest load, it is nearly impossible with the 48 lb load. Lowering the 48 lb load is of course no issue. Perhaps a long lever attached to the knob might work, or it might just strip the threads,- who knows.

It will definitely lift 80 lbs. I used to to raise my wave heavy bag to adjust the hook at the top. You will need to tighten the handle very tight if not using thread lock. I would like it if the handle was out a bit further away from the platform.

This is a good lift and it does well with no issues if I had to complain about something it would be the torque needed to start lifting under load but this can be avoided by not lowering it completely down .

Sehr empfehlenswerter Heber.Nachdem ich mir einen Fr?stisch f_ meine Makita OF RP1110 gebaut habe, war ich auf der Suche nacheinem stabilen Hebetisch. Die Fr?se wiegt 3,4 kg.Die _lichen Laborscherenwagenheber f_ kleines Geld erschienen mir v?llig ungeeignet.Auch die Rezensionen hielten mich davon ab ein derartiges Teil zu erwerben.Nach einigem suchen bin ich auf dieses Teil gestossen und habe die Bestellung aufgegeben.Schnell geliefert und nach dem auspacken war ich positiv _errascht von der stabilen Bauweise.Heber unter die Makita montiert und es funktioniert einwandfrei.Der Heber l??t sich spielfrei bedienen, l?uft sehr leicht und kein Spiel in den Lagerbuchsen.Das anheben der Makita geht logischer weise etwas schwerer als das absenken.Das Gewicht der Fr?se macht sich nat_lich bemerkbar.Positiv ist auch die Feststellschraube mit der ein unbeabsichtigtes absenken des Tisches verhindert werden kann.Ich kann diesen Laborscherenwagenheber sehr empfehlen.
