I bought this incubator and it ended up being one of the most annoying purchases I've ever made. Here's a detailed timeline of my experience with Vevor's customer care and this product :
I complained that the incubator was not heating up properly on September 6, 2024. My thermometer read just 22°C, but the LCD read 32°C. My batch of eggs, valued at €350 each, were in danger, and the ventilator was on all the time. I spoke with customer support and stressed the seriousness of the problem.
Vevor replied on September 10, 2024, requesting additional patience as they hadn't received a response from their production department.
September 14, 2024: Vevor responded in a generic manner once more, stating that the problem would be fixed "as soon as possible."
September 15, 2024: They acknowledged that a defective control board was the cause of the problem and said that a replacement will be sent in ten to fifteen days. However, because it was obvious that my damaged eggs would not recover, I requested reimbursement. Given the value of the eggs, their offer of €20 was offensive
October 10, 2024: I followed up because the replacement part hadn’t arrived after 15 days. Vevor apologized and promised an update in 1–2 days.
October 12, 2024: Vevor acknowledged that it's possible the replacement part was misplaced in transit. They asked me to fix it locally and provided me €40 in compensation. I turned this down because €40 wouldn't even pay for repairs.
October 13, 2024: Although the product was still covered under warranty, they still wanted me to fix it myself even though they had raised the reimbursement amount to €70. I also declined this offer, expressing frustration with their lack of responsibility.
After weeks of back and forth, they finally issued me a €116.99 -20€ refund that they gave me as compensation for eggs :D and allowed me to retain the damaged device that I have to fix if I want to use it. the hassle and lack of accountability from Vevor left a bad taste.
Conclusion: This incubator is unreliable and not worth the stress. The temperature control is faulty, leading to potentially disastrous results for your eggs. Vevor's customer service is slow, unresponsive, and unwilling to take proper responsibility. It took over a month to get any semblance of resolution, and I still had to deal with damaged eggs and endless frustration.
Avoid this product and company at all costs if you value your time, money, and peace of mind.
