So to everyone who has been using a clam-shell vacuuming machine, it's practical and does a fine job, but using a chamber vacuuming machine it actually a lot of fun. If you can spend the extra money and you have the space in your kitchen, this is one tool you will enjoy using.
I choose the larger version, because I can process two items at a time, and the chamber is larger for larger cuts of meat. I give it 4 stars, I rarely give anything 5 stars. This machine is constructed with the sealing bar towards the back of the chamber, it would be better if it was in the front, which is the more common design and IMO more practical. It is very easy to use, it performs very well, quality of the finish is below average, you can cut yourself on the steel plate when adding oil, round the edges with some fine sandpaper.
The machine takes all kinds of plastic even the ultra thin pp plastic bags used by streetfood vendors in Thailand, they are food safe and extremely cheap in Asia, sealing time around 2 seconds... I'd buy again !!!!
