It's very bright and will leave marks on your retinas if you stare directly at it! Performancewise, it has three settings cool white, warm white and flashing.

Bought as a pair ( better value) to prepare for the possibility of blackouts. It is pretty bright so best not to look at it directly. It has a hook so can be suspended from above. It should only be charged at 1A so I bought a usb plug with this rating so as not to damage the lanterns. I have no complaints so far but haven’t yet used it in a power cut and not really sure of battery life.

Brought these as an alternative to using a gas lamp and the added worry of replacing the delicate mantles, not to mention the heat and fumes they emit, so what better way than to have these rechargeable lamps.
