Well packed, simple installation. Ready within minutes. Turning on the fire is as easy as with any other firepit, It takes a an ongoing fire to get the vendor of its construction. Use dry wood to turn it on. It would have been nice to have a cover, even as optional, to prevent burning pieces to jump out of the pit.
I have only just tested it once, so I can't say anything about durability etc. What I can say is that the secondary burn (smokeless function) works great, it doesn't take long to reach the temperature needed, just make sure all burning wood is below the top vent holes. Firewood burns quickly as with all smokeless fire pits.
